The engineers at ESS offer advice to customers on implementing new technologies, largely on the use of components controlled by embedded microprocessors. If required, ESS also manages projects for customers involved in the automobile suppliers industry or in the field of automation technology.

Hardware Development

ESS develops customer-specific hardware. Modules for medical technology as well as motor controls, process controls or MMI's.
 

CAN

The CANgine product family includes a series of protocol converters that start with a simple generic converter via CAN and CANopen capable byte stream converter up to SAE J1939/FMS converters. All converters are available in serial and Bluetooth® versions.

CANopen

ESS supplies superfast CANopen solutions. The hardware is based on a 16 bit NXP microcontroller and is available as a chip (COIA-XA) or as a module (COIA-XA-MOD).

Telematics

Since 2003, ESS has been offering products for the field of telematics. ESS has long experience with data collection from SAE J1939/FMS and conversion in serial output formats. The new fmsconnect device is a complete on-board-computer which meets all your requirements with its internal GPS, GPRS, FMS and DTCO modules.
