Since 2001 ESS has been developing hardware for its customers and for its own products. We use Altium (earlier known as Protel) as CAD tool. This tool enables developing of extremely complex circuit boards with numerous layers. The development of firmware is done amongst others with tools from Keil (today owned by Arm). We have tools for PIC and 8051 controllers up to Arm 7/9/Cortex controllers at our disposal. Our core areas are beside microcontroller applications CAN, CANopen, telematics as well as general control and automation technology. |
